Privacy Policy
FieldSafety (“we”, “the app”) is a professional Health & Safety field reporting application for iPhone. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.
1. Overview
FieldSafety is designed to store your inspection data on your device. We do not require account creation or sign-in to use the app.
2. Information stored on your device
Depending on how you use the app, it may store:
- Profile and company details you enter (name, role, email, company branding)
- Projects, reports, inspection answers, findings and corrective actions
- Photos and signatures you attach to reports
- Generated PDF reports
- Subscription status information provided by Apple via StoreKit
- A local count of free reports used under the freemium allowance
3. Permissions
The app may request access to:
- Camera — to capture photo evidence
- Photo Library — to attach existing images
These permissions are optional for browsing the app but needed for photo evidence features.
4. Purchases and Apple
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple’s privacy policy applies to App Store transactions.
5. Sharing
Reports and PDFs are only shared when you choose to share them using the iOS share sheet or Mail. We do not sell personal data.
6. Tracking
FieldSafety does not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs in the current version.
7. Data deletion
You can delete data stored on your iPhone from More → Data & Offline → Delete all my data. Deleting local data does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage billing in your Apple ID subscription settings.
8. Future cloud sync
If cloud synchronisation is introduced later, this policy will be updated before such features are enabled, and additional consent will be obtained where required.
